Trailblazing makeup brand Hard Candy relaunches its signature products with a new look that celebrates its commitment to bold, boundary-pushing style. The brand chose beauty icon and feminist figure Marilyn Monroe as the face of its first ever collaboration, inspired by the star's personal beauty secrets and statement making looks like the red lip and exaggerated brow. The collaboration was introduced with custom content on Marilyn Monroe social channels, garnering 1.1 million impressions.

A Sweet Soireé to Launch the Marilyn Monroe Collaboration

On February 20th, Hard Candy hosted an experiential preview event with an exclusive guest list of press, editors and beauty tastemakers. Guests were invited to test the new collection while enjoying cocktails and light bites, finally taking home key products in mini Walmart shopping carts filled with Hard Candy products.

Beauty creators Eugenie Grey, Sarah Summers, Elieen Rhein and more, visited the Hard Candy event to view the latest collection and share their picks with fans. With a combined reach of 1.8 million followers, their content garnered over 2.9 million impressions. Both Hard Candy and Marilyn Monroe channels re-shared content throughout the night.
