The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team Shreds the Gold Medal Gala “White” Carpet
Arriving in Style
For the 53rd annual USST Gold Medal Gala, ABG pulled out all the stops to help the U.S. Ski and Snowboard athletes get ready for the big night. Building on Spyder’s partnership with USST as the official apparel partner for the team, Hickey Freeman, Hervé Léger, Vince Camuto and Nine West provided an assortment of dresses, suits, shoes and accessories for the gala. Notable guests included Lindsey Vonn, Kikkan Randall, Bryce Bennett, Sophie Caldwell and Kevin Bolger. ABG executives Natasha Fishman and Jarrod Weber were also in attendance.
The Perfect Fit
The day kicked off with a fitting at ABG’s New York headquarters, where athletes tried on their outfits and picked out accessories to tie their looks together. Hickey Freeman gifted each male athlete a suit of their choice, which were tailored on-site for the perfect fit. The best-dressed list included 2018 Olympian Alex Hall wearing the Pewter Grey Snakeskin Traveler Suit, 2017 U.S. Champion Kevin Bolger sporting the Navy Sharkskin Tasmanian Suit and 2014 Olympian and World Champion Travis Ganong in the Glen Plaid Suit.
Say Yes to the Dress
The female athletes stole the show in Hervé Léger dresses. Three-time Olympic medalist Lindsey Vonn opted for a color-block look in the Hervé Léger Column Skirt and Mock Neck Bodysuit. Olympic gold medalist Kikkan Randall went for a trendy animal print in the Metallic Animal Print Fringe Dress, while 2018 Olympian Ashley Caldwell stood out in the Striped Mesh Knit Gown.
Head Over Heels
No outfit is complete without the perfect accessories! Vince Camuto provided the athletes with heels and dress shoes to walk the “white” carpet, while Nine West contributed heels and sparkly baubles. Lindsey Vonn stepped out in the blush pink Vince Camuto Orre-d’Orsay pump from the Imagine Red Carpet Collection. Winter Vinecki completed her look with gold Vince Camuto Mika Platform Sandals. 2018 Olympic bronze medalist Brita Sigourney wore the Pruce Ankle Strap Block Heel and Ashley Caldwell wore the Meredith Pointy Toe Slingback both from Nine West. The male athletes put their best foot forward in Vince Camuto dress shoes, including Jared Goldberg in the Hasper Oxford and Brad Wilson in the Ivo Chelsea boot.

Spyder, the official sponsor of the USST, garnered over 19.6K impressions from digital coverage of the gala, including the Spyder jackets that were up for auction during the gala.
Vince Camuto shared images and videos of Lindsey Vonn, Jared Goldberg, Tess Johnson, and Jaelin Kauf on the “white” carpet in styles from their latest collection generating a total of 52.5K impressions.
