Sperry Releases Heritage Footwear Collaboration With Brooks Brothers

The West Coast-inspired collection includes a luxurious Cordovan boat shoe, which will retail for $1,000

Sperry®, the creator of the original boat shoe and an innovator in nautical style, and Brooks Brothers, America’s longest-established apparel brand, today announced a limited-edition shoe collection slated to launch on March 15. The iconic partnership celebrates longevity, tradition, and the history of preppy fashion as two titans of American heritage come together. The collection offers a fresh, functional footwear line embodying quality, craftsmanship, and classic style.

Sperry was founded in 1935 by avid sailor, inventor and intrepid explorer Paul Sperry with the invention of the first boat shoe. Nearly 90 years later, Sperry continues to lead the boat shoe category, representing more than 70% of the market. Through this partnership with Brooks Brothers, Sperry enters the luxury space.

The collaboration will introduce several new styles, from dressy kilties to sporty slip-on tennis shoes and a colorful variety of boat shoes that pair nicely with Brooks Brothers’ Spring/Summer collection, which is inspired by 1980s Los Angeles. A highlight of the product lineup is the limited edition Cordovan boat shoe, a luxurious take on a prep icon that is handcrafted by skilled artisans at Rancourt. The high-end offering will embody Sperry’s signature boat shoe silhouette and Brooks Brothers’ iconic American aesthetic and is set to retail for $1,000.

Ranging from $78 - $1,000 in price, the collection is slated to launch on Wednesday, March 15, and will be available in limited quantities via sperry.com and brooksbrothers.com.
